Serial Port Redirector is a software tool that enables a serial application to connect to a remote TCP socket. It provides a two-way bridge between a serial application and a specific TCP port at a given IP address by creating virtual COM ports. When the serial application connects to one of these COM ports, a connection is established to the specified host, allowing data to be exchanged between a TCP/IP application and a program that only supports serial ports.
